Sorry for the delay in getting the last episode uploaded, gang. Last week, my company started training us for some new software (going from Pro-Engineer Wildfire to Creo) and they hired an instructor to cram two weeks of training into one week, so my brain was fried all week long. Then a friend of mine proposed to his now fiancé on Friday, and we celebrated all weekend. Needless to say, editing has been slow going.
Now for the big news. I've been offered a new job with some previous co-workers, for a company that works closely with China in developing hospital equipment. Problem is, I'm torn on whether or not I want to take it. At my current job, I keep climbing ranks and they've taken great care of me, plus the company has grown a lot in the last few years. Taking the new job would be a huge gamble with great rewards (faster growth thanks to Chinese relations, higher salary, more vacation, and trips to their China shop), but it means losing everything I have with my current employer. My plan is to take a week of paid vacation and work with the new company for 25 hours, just to see if either of us feel comfortable with the transition. But that's going to be March 16th through the 20th.
Later this week, I have a two-day business trip to Tennessee, so I'm going to be exhausted this Saturday. Which means I need to put the podcast on hold for a while. I was hoping to record again this Saturday, but at this rate, my heart's just not into it.
I will get the podcast uploaded this week (I think Tuesday will work out for me), but I only had time to edit a part of the episode, so the rest of it will just go unedited and raw. Yeaaaaah, RAW, BABY! ~~
Oh, and I have something new planned for my gallery! It's gonna take me a week or two to finally get it ready, but here is a hint: Quinn + Photography = New Content
